Testified at trial in Federal Court for defense in suit against hotel concerning construction delays. Project was of a fast track nature where electrical contractor was removed from project because contractor did not maintain progress in accordance with schedule. As part of counterclaim, owner attempted to recover costs for completion by another electrical contractor. Owner was partially successful. Attorney for Defense was William Lowery of Dechert, Price & Rhoads.

Rockefeller Plaza, Albany, New York
Testified at trial in New York State Court for defense in suit against State pertaining to delay claims and charges for late payment in $2 billion project in Albany. This suit involved the electrical contractor for the Main Platform Area, a contract that grew from a base of $18,000,000 to $45,000,000. The State counterclaimed for fraud and non-compliance with the National Electric Code. The Plaintiff was partially successful while the State was able to recover a net gain in excess of $800,000.

Foundry, Mesenna, New York
Trial in New York Tax Claim Court for defense against objection by General Motors to an increase in its Tax Assessment. Court ruled against General Motors and the New York Court of Appeals refused to consider the case. Attorney for Town of Mesenna was William Brennan from Buffalo, New York.

MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada
Assisted attorneys from Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz during discovery. Prepared questions for attorneys during period of depositions. Multiple suits were settled out of court.

IBM - Endicott & Glendale, New York
Assisted IBM in objection to total tax assessment increase. Evaluated electrical costs for all IBM buildings in both cities. Case was settled out of court.

Philadelphia commuter tunnel, Amtrak's 30th Street Station, SEPTA's Market Street line, and other transportation projects.

• Electrical systems upgrading of 12 stations on the New Haven Railroad (Connecticut), including installations, sectionalizing break installations, re-electrification of the Danbury Branch, increased relay protection, and a complete supervisory program analysis.

Construction and Quality Assurance Manager for installation of clean area laboratory facilities in Menlo Park, California.

Project Manager responsible for electrical and instrumentation subcontracts at Burroughs Welcome Labs in Greenville, NC.  Responsibilities included technical support and inspection services on multi-million dollar pharmaceutical bulk chemical plants.

William Penn House – Project manager in charge of all preliminary and final design, procurement, scheduling, cost control and change orders for electrical installation of a 29-story, 625-unit apartment building in Philadelphia.  Evaluated the entire electrical system of the Land Title office building in Philadelphia, including problems of PCB-filled transformers, study and methods for disposal and correction.

Scott Paper Company – Electrical estimator for extensive paper mill renovations, Chester, PA.

Sikorsky Aircraft – Project estimator for a $30 million repair facility in Stratford, CT, including all phases of general construction, mechanical and electrical installations.

U.S. Army – Chief electrical estimator in various value engineering projects. Prepared cost models and led electrical teams in value engineering studies for Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in Kansas and the Production Base Modernization (PBM) Activity in New Jersey.

Value Engineering Study performed for a $19.5 million public project.  Recommen­dations resulted in $1.1 million in savings over the life of the project.

Value Engineering Study performed for the $33 million Union County, NJ Justice Facility.  Recommendations resulted in what the client described as “cost optimization.”
